RONKA STUDIO is a Hungarian family design brand founded by Helga Kovács and Erzsébet Kiss. This mother–daughter project connects the contemporary artistic scene of Budapest with the craftsmanship, traditions, and slower rhythm of rural Hungary.

Inspired by generations of our family craftsmanship, including carpentry and shoemaking, RONKA STUDIO brings together contemporary textile design and the joy of collaborative making.

The collections are based on Helga Kovács's original drawings and unique textile patterns, reflecting her personal visual language and artistic vision.

Each garment is a hand-sewn, made-to-order, limited-edition artist kimono, produced in small quantities in Hungary. Every piece is created in collaboration with a local seamstress and skilled artisans.

Future collections will also include hand-painted, embroidered, and printed textiles, home accessories, and unique artisanal objects developed in collaboration with local makers and artists.

By connecting urban creativity with local knowledge and traditional craftsmanship, RONKA STUDIO creates contemporary pieces that carry both personal stories and cultural heritage.
